Bart Hale
Mr. Hale served as CEO and President of SFAS’ predecessor specialty lending company, Strategic Finance, Inc. from 1995 to 2002 providing direct capital to over 150 mid-sized businesses. Following the successful sale of SFI’s assets to a regional banking group, Mr. Hale has continued to actively provide financial advisory and debt placement, restructuring and M&A services to middle market businesses. His advisory work has also included C-level leadership, turnaround, board and ownership positions for predominately distribution and business services companies. Prior to SFI, Mr. Hale served as Vice President for Texas Commerce Capital Markets where he was responsible for originating and managing investment banking opportunities for middle market companies. He also worked in the Corporate Finance Group of Chemical Bank in New York specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hale earned his B.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University and his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Reed Hale
Mr. Hale joined SFAS in mid-2012 initially serving as market and financial analyst. Mr. Hale continues to provide both lead and support activities in the origination, analysis, underwriting, structuring and closing of a broad range of mid-market corporate finance and ABL transactions including debt refinancing & restructuring, business acquisition & sale assignments. Mr. Hale earned his B.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University.
